Their rivalry with Gor Mahia sired the Mashemeji derby, a game that brings the city to a standstill.
Speaking of success and achievements AFC rallies behind Gor Mahia with the most League win as they have clinched 13 league titles. However, the sleeping giants have been on a dry spell for the past 24 years since they won their last league title.
Their recently won trophy was the FKF President’s Cup which they won in 2013. Since then the club has been escorting other clubs to the victory stage.
