Mike Makori is the right definition of Jack of Trades and Master of all, the talented gentleman who serves as a TV host, MC, Influencer, actor, and businessman. He is the man behind the lead character in the highly rated Maisha Magic show, “Zari” starring as Lwanda.
Despite being one of the best TV hosts and actors, Mike struggled with stammering while he was young but with time he managed to mask it and made it big in the media industry where fluency is a key tool.

He was born in 1988 in Nairobi County however, his actual date of birth is still unknown.
Career
Mike is currently one of the biggest media personalities in Kenya and has managed to cement their name in almost all the fields in the industry, from hosting to acting. Despite the success, while growing up TV was not part of his plans and aviation was his priority.
However, he never made it to aviation and ended up in marketing after school and worked in that position for one and half years before quitting as it was not working for him.. After that, a friend told him to try the next big TV host contest which was an online contest.
He never won the competition but the challenge served as his breakthrough into the media industry. After the challenge, he was called by KTN for a screen test for a show dubbed E-Curve.
He ended up earning the job and this is where he came into the limelight and sharpened his media skills. The show was an entertainment-based show and his vibe went well with the target audience who were the youth earning him more points in the industry.
Two years down the line he left the show to join a more advanced show which was Lottery show, Lotto. He went on to gain more prominence in the industry via the show and this opened more doors for him. He hosted the show until the start of 2023.
Acting career
Away from his hosting career, he has managed to be also successful in the bar and restaurant business operating one of the biggest clubs in the Dagoretti. Recently, he made his acting debut and came in as a lead actor in one of the biggest films on Maisha Magic.
In the film Makori, acts besides big wigs in the acting industry including Brenda Wairimu and Sarah Hassan. According to him, he never imagined that he would ever act but since he has stepped his foot in, he thinks it’s a good field to venture in.
