1. Bumbe beach

Bumbe beach is situated in Samia. Lake Victoria provides the ideal setting for swimming, taking boat trips, participating in other water sports, and fishing.

2. Emakina Hills

Beautiful Emakina Hills may be found near the town of Nambale. The hills are home to dense forests that are vital to the survival of many bird species. The hills are an excellent destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

3. Kakapel National Monument

The Teso North area of Busia County is home to Kakapel National Monument, a rock art site housed under a massive rock shelter. After being closed for repairs by the National Museums of Kenya for many years, it reopened to the public in 2007. Wildlife, rainmaking, and initiation symbols are shown in the artwork. It’s the best place to see rock art in all of Kenya.

4. Namenya hills

Namenya hills are located in Bunyala. The hills have an approximate elevation of 1134 meters. Over a hundred different kinds of birds make their home among the native shrubs and trees that dot the hills. It’s a great place to go hiking and bird viewing.

5. Chelelemuk hill

Chelelemuk hill may be near Malaba town, only a short distance from the Kenyan and Ugandan borders. The area is famous for outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and trail walking, in Busia County.

6. Bukoma Beach

Bukoma Beach is a public beach in the Budalangi constituency’s Bunyala Westward. Recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, and boating are highly recommended.
