List of Co-operative Bank Branches in Kenya, Locations and Branch Codes
This is a list of all Co-operative Bank branches in Kenya, along with their branch codes. Co-op Bank is one of the largest banks in the country. The headquarters are located at the Co-operative House on Haile Selassie Avenue. Cooperative Bank has a large Sacco banking base, which has influenced its recent growth.
The Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited was established in Kenya under the Company Act and is licensed to conduct banking operations under the Banking Act.
When it was founded in 1965, the bank was initially registered under the Co-operative Societies Act. This status was maintained until June 27th, 2008, when the Bank’s Special General Meeting resolved to incorporate under the Companies Act in order to meet the requirements for listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
On December 22, 2008, the bank went public and was listed on the NSE.
Shares previously held by 3,805 Co-operative Societies and unions were ring-fenced under CoopHoldings Co-operative Society Limited, which became the Bank’s strategic investor with a 64.56% stake.

The Bank has three subsidiary companies:
Kingdom Securities Limited is a stockbroking firm in which the bank owns 60% of the stock. Co-opTrust Investment Services Limited: This is the bank’s wholly-owned fund management subsidiary. Co-op Consultancy & Insurance Agency Limited (CCIA): This is the bank’s wholly owned corporate finance, financial advisory, and capacity-building subsidiary.
