Jacque Maribe Biography, Age, Career, Love affairs and Scandals
Jacque Maribe is a controversial Kenyan journalist, former news anchor, and reporter at Citizen TV and K24 TV, respectively.
Life is full with surprises. You appear to have everything under control in one minute. Your professional career is on the rise. Your buddies determine who is who in society. As you become complacent, all you’ve worked for crumbles like a house of cards. Former Citizen news anchor Jacque Maribe’s story, or at least one part of her unfinished book, meets that description.
Age and Place of Birth
Mr. and Mrs. Maribe Mwangi gave birth to the ex-TV siren on December 18. Her birth year is not public knowledge. She attended State House Girls School before enrolling at the University of Nairobi, where she earned a degree in journalism.
Jacque Maribe Career
Maribe played Wanza Kiluhu in the award-winning film The Constant Gardener in 2005. She went on to work as a senior political correspondent for K24 TV for two years in 2009.
She worked as a political affairs reporter for Radio Africa Group from December 2011 to October 2012. She worked with Citizen TV from 2012 till her abrupt departure in 2018.
Working for Citizen TV gave her the consistency she lacked in other media outlets. On May 14, 2014, the media star gave birth to a bouncing boy called Zahari. She had a romantic connection with comedian Eric Omondi who is believed to have sired the kid.
Speaking to the media about their relationship, Eric Omondi revealed that he was working at Radio Jambo while Maribe was working at Kiss TV as a reporter.
They later hooked up and started dating. Omondi says that they have remained best friends since and things would remain that way between them.
Terrible Relationship
Maribe would not have dated Joseph Irungu ‘Jowie’ if she could turn back time.
The fun-loving, 28-year-old man with deadly looks was accused of murdering businesswoman Monica Nyawira at her Lamuria Gardens residence in Kilimani Estate.
Maribe was accused of being an accessory to her arrest. Maribe’s name was dragged through the muck from reading the news to being a newsmaker herself, and it was no surprise when CitizenTV chose to cut her off.
Her father supported her through thick and thin. Dennis It
