Kambua Manundu Mathu, commonly known as Kambua Citizen TV is an acknowledged gospel musician in Kenya and a TV Presenter known for hosting the popular gospel show “Rauka” which airs on Citizen TV every Sunday from 6 AM to 9 AM. She however announced quitting her TV job on Sunday 16 January 2022 to concentrate on her personal affairs.
The show (Rauka) is a favorite for many Kenyans who like listening to gospel songs, especially on Sunday mornings. Kambua used to host the show alongside Ken The DJ.

Kambua Manundu was born on 10th November 1986 in Nairobi, Kenya. She is the second-born child in a family of three. Her parents are Professor Manundu and Evangelist Lois Manundu who are co-founders of Tabibu Ministries. She is 36 years as of 2022.

Kambua joined Kianda Primary School for her primary education and later proceeded to Lukenya Academy for her secondary education. While in school, she developed an interest in music and joined the school choir where she used to sing. Kambua’s real name is Kambua Manundu. This is how she was known before assuming the surname of her husband, Pastor Jackson Mathu. However, many just call her Kambua, which is the name she has used to brand herself both in the Media and Music Industries.
Kambua Citizen TV Career
Kambua joined Praise Band called ‘Eneza’ at Parklands Baptist Church in 2002 and served there for almost four years. While at Eneza, an Italian NGO organized an event in which she participated and was awarded the ‘Best Solo Vocalist’ in a competition run by Radio Waumini.
In 2004, she joined a music group called Passport Incorporated which was based in Birmingham, Alabama, and worked with them for a few years. She later joined the then vibrant music group, Ogopa Deejays, and began doing jingles for various commercials like Delmonte, Sunlight, Mumias Sugar, KPLC, and recently, Fresha Maisha Milk.
